Happy Labor Day

Labor Day is here once again. While many people see the holiday as the end of the summer or the beginning of the school year, the real meaning of the day is to celebrate the workers. It is the one day of the year where we don't celebrate an individual or a conquest, but we celebrate everyone who goes to work everyday. We celebrate those who make our country run. This Labor Day, I ask all of you to take a minute from the barbecue, from the beach, and from your vacation to remember the true meaning of the holiday. Let your friends, family and kids know that we celebrate this holiday because of a strong labor movement. Happy Labor Day Local 66.
