Happy Labor Day

On Monday we celebrate Labor Day, the workers holiday. This holiday was started by unions in New York City in 1882 to celebrate all working people.

Since then working people have fought, struggled and succeeded in making huge gains. They have won things like the eight hour workday, OSHA standards, and weekends. They have turned jobs like ours from dangerous jobs into safe careers that you can raise a family on.

This Labor Day, lets celebrate all of the workers who make our country move, who make our country great and continue the fight to ensure that our generation and future generations of workers are protected.
