Local 66 rallies for Union Jobs at Stew Leonards

On Saturday, April 11th, hundreds of members of Laborers Local 66 came out to call for Stew Leonard's to build their new Farmingdale store with Union labor. With the rats inflated, members stood along Rt 110 letting shoppers know that Stew Leonard's was using scab labor to build their new store.  With chants of "What do we want? A Union," members marched to the store delivering a coffin and their message directly to the stores manager, staff and customers.  Local 66 was joined by members of the Building and Construction trade unions as well as members of the LI Federation of Labor including RWDSU Local 338 and Local 1102.
